First, you create a VoiceHug project and record your own message. Then, you invite friends and family to add their voices. We professionally mix all the messages together and deliver a polished audio file that your recipient will treasure forever. ### Do contributors need to download an app? No! Contributors can record their messages directly in their web browser on any device. We've made it super easy - they just click the link you send them and start recording. ### Can I organize a VoiceHug from ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant? Yes. VoiceHug runs an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, so an AI assistant can create a VoiceHug, invite people, send reminders, and generate the final mix for you, signed in as you. Recording still happens in the browser. Developers who want to connect an app can find the details at voicehug.co/developers/mcp. ## Recording & Technical ### How long can each message be? Individual messages can be up to 5 minutes long. The final VoiceHug can include unlimited contributors, though we recommend keeping the total length under 30 minutes for the best listening experience. ### What devices and browsers are supported? VoiceHug works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on both desktop and mobile devices. For the best experience, we recommend using Chrome or Firefox. ### Can I re-record my message? Yes! You can re-record your message as many times as you like before the VoiceHug is finalized. Contributors can also update their recordings until you mark the project as complete. ## Managing Contributors ### How many people can contribute to a VoiceHug? There's no limit! You can invite as many contributors as you'd like. We've had VoiceHugs with over 50 contributors from around the world. ### How do I invite people to contribute? After creating your VoiceHug, you'll get a unique link to share. You can send this via email, text, WhatsApp, or any messaging platform. We also provide email templates to make inviting easy. ### Can I send reminders to contributors? Yes! You can send friendly reminders to contributors who haven't recorded yet. We also have an automatic reminder feature that sends gentle nudges as your deadline approaches. ## Pricing & Payment ### How much does a VoiceHug cost? VoiceHugs with up to 6 participants (including you as the organizer) are completely free. If you invite more than 5 contributors, a one-time $9.99 payment is required to generate the final mix. This includes professional audio mixing and the ability to download your final VoiceHug. ### Do contributors have to pay? No! Only the organizer pays. All contributors can record their messages for free. ### What's your refund policy? We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied with your VoiceHug, contact us for a full refund. ## Privacy & Security ### Is my audio data secure? Absolutely. All recordings are encrypted and stored securely. We never share or sell your data, and you maintain full ownership of your VoiceHug. ### Who can access the recordings? Only you (the organizer) and the contributors you invite can access the project. The final VoiceHug is only accessible to people you choose to share it with. ### How long do you store the recordings? We store your VoiceHug for 12 months after creation, giving you plenty of time to download it. Individual contributor recordings are deleted 30 days after the project is completed. ## Delivery & Sharing ### How is the final VoiceHug delivered? You'll receive a download link for the MP3 file, plus a beautiful web player link you can share with the recipient. They can listen online or download to keep forever. ### Can I preview the VoiceHug before sending? Yes! You'll be able to listen to the professionally mixed version before marking it as complete. You can request adjustments if needed. ### Can I schedule delivery for a specific date? Yes!
